Fleetwood H.S., Fleetwood Pa. – 4 yr varsity letter winner1971, 72, 73, 74, All  County 1^st team 1973, 1974, Team MVP 1973, 1974, Berks County MVP & POY 1974, Pa. All State 1^st team 1974. 

College: played NCAA Div. 1 at the United States Air Force Academy – 4 yr varsity letter winner 1976, 77, 78, 79, team leading scorer 1976 & 1979, All Conference 2^nd team 1977, All Conference 1^st Team 1978, 1979,  Team Captain 1979, Team MVP 1979, played in the NCAA D1 Tournament 1977.  Mike is the 6th  All Time Leading Scorer at the Air Force Academy and was a 1^st Team, All Far West All American, Invited to 1980 U.S. Olympic Soccer Team tryouts 1979.

While in the United States Air Force: played on the All Air Force Soccer Team in 1982, 1984 & 1985 and was team’s leading scorer all three years, Selected to the U.S. All Interservice Team all three years

After the Air Force:

Played for the NH Budmen in the NH Div. 1 Open league and won the state title 6 times from 1982 to 1996 and was teams leading scorer, then played in the Ma. Over the Hill League Over 30 from 1997 to  2008 then moved to the 1^st Div. Over 50 league to 2015 then to Over 56 league 2016 to present.

Coaching- Started coaching with the town recreation department in 1989,  Somersworth H.S. Boys Varsithy Soccer Coach  1993 to 1996, in 1996 became director of the town recreation soccer program with 74 players, grew the program to 260 players by 2000 and started ROSO Soccer Club in 2005. The number of kids playing soccer in Somersworth increased to 400+ with 32 recreation teams and 7 travel teams.  Returned  to coaching H.S. as a full time assistant with the boys Varsity program from 2008 to 2018 and in that time frame the team went to the State Semi Finals twice and Quarter Finals once.  Mike Holds a USSF “D” coaching license.  Coached ROSO travel teams from 2005 to (present). 2010 Preston Eames award winner for outstanding contribution to NH Soccer and NH Boys Coach of the year. 2019 Assistant Girls H.S. Varsity Coach and 2020 to present Somersworth H.S. Girls Varsity Coach.
